Development Of Your Postcard Campaigns

The development of your postcard mailing campaign includes 4 steps: Design, Addressing, Scheduling, and Ordering. For the first step (Design), you either can build your own postcard using the online tools, can work with our team for a custom design, or can upload a printable document (conforming to the Printable Document Specification). This website section helps you prepare to build your own.

During the design step, you will select a postcard template, choose a front-side photo, and access information that you have stored within your private account settings. You can begin the process or return to a work-in-progress by accessing the design Wizard.

Design Elements

Templates
A variety of pre-defined templates are available for your selection. The templates provide the basic structure of the postcards, including the size and the layout of the back-side information. Each template is described completely within the Template Specification. In this document, you can determine what information you need to provide to complete the design.

Front-side photos
The front-side of the postcards contain the inspiring image that attracts the attention of the postcard recipients. Often, the front-side photograph is a single picture of a location or activity relating to the travel promotion. Or, the front-side might contain a collage of individual pictures, graphics, and words. You can:

  • Upload your own image
  • Upload a completed front-side image
  • Select an image from the TripCards catalog
  • Purchase an image from a 3rd party vendor
  • Add graphics and text online to any image you have selected
  • Develop an image with the TripCards creative design team

Private and shared data
Each company and each representative can store reusable information within their account settings. This information can be easily incorporated into postcard designs. These items include:

  • Graphics (logos)
  • Contact information & addresses
  • Color palette values
  • Corporate slogans
  • Photographs of agents
  • Etc.
